OBLIK Berlin - webshop

Password: OBLIK-berlin@2023 As part of my capstone project, I created a Fullstack web application for OBLIK-Berlin that focuses on sustainability, ethical production, and creativity. The application has a user-friendly interface that allows customers to browse and purchase furniture items easily. The homepage of the application showcases new arrivals, best sellers, and featured products. Customers can filter the products by category, brand and price range.

Each product page contains detailed information about the item, including dimensions, material, and care instructions. Customers can also see reviews from other customers who have purchased the product. They can add items to their shopping cart and proceed to checkout, where they can choose their preferred payment method and shipping option.

The application also has an account system, where customers can create an account, save their shipping and payment information, and view their order history.

For the backend of the application, I used NextJS for the API and MongoDB for the database. The frontend was developed using NextJS and styled with greenCSS. I also implemented payment integration with Stripe and custom shipping integration.

Overall, the OBLIK-Berlin webshop application I created is a user-friendly, secure, sustainable and efficient platform for customers to shop for handmade and sustainable furniture pieces and home decor.

MongoDB: MongoDB is a popular NoSQL document database that is often used for storing and retrieving data in web applications. It is known for its scalability, flexibility, and ease of use.
SCSS: SCSS is a popular preprocessor for CSS that adds features such as variables, nesting, and mixins to the standard CSS syntax. It allows developers to write cleaner and more maintainable CSS code.
greenCSS: greenCSS is a lightweight CSS framework that is designed to be modular and easy to use. It provides a set of pre-built CSS animations, classes and utilities that can be easily customized to fit in every project's needs.
semantic-release: semantic-release is a tool that automates the release process of your software projects. It analyzes your commit messages to determine the type of release (major, minor, or patch) and generates a new version number and changelog. It can also publish the new release to GitHub or other platforms.
